Warning: Metal Ahead

So my current infatuation with Chinese Democracy has had an unintended consequence... I'm starting to get back into metal.

I'm not sure how serious this is, but I did pick up the latest Torche album (which is pretty awesome, BTW), and am currently listening to Master of Puppets for the first time in about a decade. And, I'll be damned, this thing kicks as much ass in 2008 as it did in 1986.

As a result, I've got a sneaking suspicion that Steve's about to embark on a metal thing. We'll see how long it lasts. I suppose it depends on whether Mastodon, The Sword, and all of the other new metal bands are really as good as people say they are.
