New Wheat, "My Warning Song"

They're back!

Wheat has a new song called "My Warning Song" streaming over on its MySpace page. The song appears to be the first track off the band's forthcoming LP, White Ink Black Ink. There's a reference on the MySpace page to a 1/1/09 release date, but I don't think that happened.

Oh, and if you're in Boston or NYC, you're in luck -- the band has two live dates scheduled:

Jan. 24: Allston, MA (Great Scott)
Feb. 12: Brooklyn, NY (Union Hall)

So, umm, yeah. The Rural Alberta Advantage, The Mystery Jets and Wheat are all playing shows in New York over the next month, but not DC (or anywhere else, really). I really ought to just call my landlord and cancel my DC lease tomorrow, eh?
