Dead Touring This Spring, Hitting DC

Looks like I've got one more thing to thank Barack Obama for... The Dead are reuniting for a 19-night tour this Spring, with stops here in DC, New York, Chicago and elsewhere.

If you'll recall, the band reunited for two Obama benefit shows last Fall. This, however, will be their first full tour in five years.

No exact word as to on-sale dates yet, but there will supposedly be a pre-sale over at Dead.net, and Billboard says the first set of on-sales should be around January 13th.
