Takka Takka Residency @ Pianos

I meant to post about this last week, and ended up missing the first show. Oh well.

New York's Takka Takka have a month-long residency at Pianos in New York in the leadup to the July 29th release of their second album, Migration. The first show was this past Tuesday, and there are two more left:

Tues., 7/22: Takka Takka with Get Him Eat Him, Peasant and the Black Hollies
Tues., 7/29: Takka Takka with Inlets and special guests

Not sure which of these I'd rather be at. I really like GHEM, but have a gut feeling that the CD release show will leave people clapping in national pride.

So, if you're in New York, by all means, GO.
