Joe Strummer's London Calling

Just when I think I couldn't love WOXY any more, they go and do this --

Starting this Sunday at 10am Eastern, WOXY will be broadcasting Joe Strummer's London Calling, a series of 14 half-hour radio programs that Joe presented for BBC Radio in 1998. The shows featured Joe and his record collection, and nothing more (what else is there?).

The show will be aired as 4 weekly two-hour programs, and is hosted by none other than Jon Langford of the Mekons and the Waco Brothers.

This is awesome. Now I just need to make sure I'm awake and home by 10am on Sundays...
