Frightened Rabbit @ Black Cat, DC [6/30/08]

Discussion tomorrow. Absolutely beat.

One question though - when the hell did Frightened Rabbit get so popular? Was their music used on The Hills or something? I love 'em to death, but I assumed I'd be one of 15 people there for their set. Instead, the show sold out. Good for them.

Shit. That's even worse.

Grey's Anatomy is everything that's wrong with America, with the exception of Katherine Heigl, who may be our last chance at redemption.

Here's another reason why FR are so popular, it's the PF bump. much like the colbert bump, but with tighter jeans...

Uhm, maybe because they released one of the best records of 2008? Just a guess ...

Seriously, this band is gonna be HUUUUGE. Get used to it.

I haven't been to the back stage at the Black Cat that many times before, but this is the best show I've seen at any venue this small.

Yeah, I hadn't been to a show in the backstage before last month, but it's quickly become my favorite place to see a show in D.C. I've also been lucky that the three shows I've seen (Lightspeed Champion, Shearwater and Frightened Rabbit) have all been excellent.
