Crooked Fingers Touring With Okkervil River

So I bought a ticket a while ago for Okkervil River's October 6th show at Webster Hall in New York on the theory that I very well may be living in New York again by then. Add to that the fact that they're not hitting DC on this tour (the closest they're getting is Richmond), and I figured I was likely to find a way to the show whether I'm living in NYC or not.

Well, now I have even more reason to make the show - Crooked Fingers is opening the entire Okkervil tour. Pure awesomeness. I may even have to pick up a Richmond ticket now just to be safe.

The tour will be in support (or in advance) of a brand new album which is due out sometime this Fall. The still-untitled new disc was tracked at the Beech House in Nashville with Alex Mcmanus and Mark Nevers and mixed at Jupiter Studios in Seattle, WA by Martin Feveyear.
