Wow, does that ever suck. Really, really liked Harp. That Tweedy interview was one of the best I ever read, and it had a nice mix of alt country and indie rock that was pretty unique. Plus the great Fred Mills wrote for it.
I thought they might have a shot, as much of their advertising was musician-focused (guitar strings, touring rentals, that sort of thing), but guess the combined forces of postal rate hikes and label advertising basically disappearing killed them. Not a good time to be in the music magazine business (unless you happen to be Mojo, though even their parent company is now for sale).
