No Surprise -- Emo Endorses Obama

First alt-country, then jam bands, now emo...

According to Kingblind, Conor Oberst and his Saddle Creek Records-owned Slowdown club have thrown their lot in with Barack Obama, and will be holding a benefit concert in Omaha on February 7th (i.e., tomorrow).

Set to perform are Bright Eyes, M. Ward, Jim Ward (Sparta, At The Drive-In) and Secret Life of Sparrows. If you don't have tickets already, you're probably out of luck.

Nebraska's Democratic Party holds its presidential caucus this Saturday, February 9th.
