Slow week this week... at least in terms of shows I'd like to see. Happy to see that Justice picked a DC venue smaller than 18,000 people. Not that I'm a fan, but still... what the hell were they thinking?

9:30 Club tickets go on sale today at 10am via Ticket.com. For some reason the Joe Jackson show has been taken off the 9:30 calendar -- was it canceled? It was originally supposed to go on sale tomorrow (Fri. 1/25) at 10am.

3/18: X Levitation Cult feat. Joie Calio of Dada

Iota tickets are sold at the door only. I'm a Dada fan going back to 1993 or so, so I may try to check this out.

Sat., 3/29: Sanctuary - Iron Maiden Tribute

Jaxx tickets are sold via Ticketmaster, and Skid Row tix are on sale now. And there's some good news -- the JAXX folks have apparently received some legitimate offers for the club and are no longer asking for people to contact them to buy the venue. Hopefully something gets worked out soon, because I actually kinda wanna see the Iron Maiden tribute band. According to the venue site, the band will be "perform[ing] a full stage show with Eddie and more!" Awesome.
