Who's Playing SXSW 2008?
I mentioned the other day that I might try to do this. Since names of bands are just now starting to leak out, it seems like it might be a reasonable thing to try to attempt. I'm sure I'll give up long before the full list of 1,000+ bands is announced.
I can't even pretend to link to all of the sources, so just assume I either found it on the bands' individual sites or, more likely, via Brooklyn Vegan.

I am posting a complete list of Venues, both official SxSW venues, as well as Fringe Event venues, during 2007's SxSW Music Festival.
I will be using the 2007 list as a starting point, to compile a list for 2008.
These listings will primarily be used to track the Code Compliance status of each venue, but you are welcome to use the lists, as you determine which bands will be playing, and where.
