Reigning Sound, Mary Weiss and Others in NYC

While I'll repeat my earlier exhortation that you join me on Staten Island on Saturday, December 15th, I really can't blame me if you choose to instead spend the evening in the borough of Brooklyn instead.

Why? I just saw that the Norton Records Holiday Spectacular is taking place at Southpaw that night. The show will feature Reigning Sound, Mary Weiss, Roy Loney (of the Flamin' Groovies), Handsome Dick Manitoba and many, many others. Tickets are on sale now.

I've still never seen Reigning Sound, and I get so few chances, but I still prefer to see The Figgs and The In Crowd. So Richmond County it is for me.
