NPR Music

The NPR-ization of indie rock continues.

NPR today launched a beta version of NPR Music, a new site that focuses, of course, on music. The site features on-air and online content aggregated from NPR and 12 member stations, including KEXP in Seattle, KUT in Austin, WFUV and WNYC in New York, WXPN in Philadelphia and Minnesota Public Radio. Among other things, the site includes the ongoing NPR Concert Series, KEXP's recent sessions from CMJ, interviews and profiles, reviews and blogs.

Overall, it looks pretty promising. Hopefully it will be a one-stop-shop for all of its member stations' content, so I don't have to jump around between KEXP, NPR, WXPN, etc. constantly to see what new sessions have been archived.
