New Delays, "Love Made Visible"

One of my favorite, under-appreciated bands (at least in the US) of the past few years is England's The Delays. The band's debut LP, Faded Seaside Glamour, was a near-perfect disc of lush, dreamy pop. And although their second album, In Colours, didn't quite measure up to their debut, it's grown on me quite a bit in the year and half since it's U.K. release (as far as I know, it never got a U.S. release).

The band had fallen off my radar a bit recently, but I just discovered on their website that not only do they have a brand new EP that just came out three days ago, but they've also finished recording for their third album, entitled Everything's the Rush. The album was produced by Youth (Verve - Urban Hymns / Primal Scream - Riot City Blues), and should be out early next year on the highly-regarded Fiction Records.

You can hear the lead track from the band's new Love Made Visible EP at their MySpace page. The band has also made the song "Panic Attacks" from the EP downloadable at their website. You can also check it out here:

The Love Made Visible EP is a limited edition of only 2000 copies, and can be ordered here.

Edited to add: Just noticed that they actually have a video for "Love Made Visible". Check it out. I'm loving the tune.
