DC Show Update

I'm a day late this week... apologies. With one or two exceptions, though, there's not much too exciting. As always, my recommended shows in bold, and updates going forward are in italics.

Black Cat
Tues., 11/20: Julie Ocean, Gist
Wed., 11/28: Antelope, Thank You, The Andalusians
Tue., 12/11: Lorelei, The Antiques
Wed., 12/12: Mikal Evans Band, Argos

Also, Awesome Color and Dead Confederates have been added to the 11/27 Dinosaur Jr. show. I saw Awesome Color earlier this year, but I don't recall anything about them. Dead Confederates have been getting pretty good press lately, though, so that should be interesting.

Black Cat shows go on sale Friday at 5pm via Ticketmaster.

DC9
Wed., 11/21: Scotland Yard Gospel Choir
Sun/, 12/9: Fiction Plane (yep - Sting's son's band. I'll skip, thanks.)

I think tickets for both of these shows are doors-only, but you should double-check here if you truly must find out for yourself whether Joe Sumner can go all night like Dad.

Iota
Sun., 11/18: Vandaveer w/ John Bustine, Beatbeat Whisper
Sat., 11/24: The Cassettes w/ A Cat Called Cricket

All Iota shows are door-sales only.

9:30 Club
Mon., 11/19: Jonathan Davis (of Korn, bitches) with Godhead
Sun., 12/2: The Dan Band (you know 'em as the sassy, foul-mouthed band from Old School)
Wed., 3/5/08: Matt Costa

9:30 Club shows went on sale this morning via Tickets.com.

Rock and Roll Hotel
Fri., 12/14: Mobius Band, Middle Distance Runner, The Epochs

Rock and Roll Hotel tickets go on sale on Friday at 10am via Ticket Alternative.
