The Makes Nice to Release New Album, Tour

One of the more interesting bands that I've found so far this year is San Francisco's The Makes Nice. I posted about them back in March when I discovered their excellent Candy Wrapper & Twelve Other Songs LP, and I've been enjoying that disc ever since.

Surprisingly, I just noticed on the band's MySpace page that they have a new album coming out next month. The album is entitled This Time Tomorrow and is scheduled for release on October 16th on Frenetic Records. You can hear two new songs ("Do It Again" and "Her Personal Vendetta") on their MySpace page.

The band is also about to go out for a pretty extensive tour which, sadly, will not be bringing them to the D.C. area. Newman!
