Some great Antlers news over at The Battering Room today... 

We already knew that the band had reached a deal with Fall Records to re-release the incredibly, fantastically wonderful In The Attic of the Universe, but now we finally have a release date - November 3rd. The disc will both be remastered and will have new packaging.  Can't wait to get my hands on it.  Be sure to pick it up when it comes out, even if you are one of 10,000 people who have apparently downloaded the disc already.  (Wow.  Eat that, Clive.)

Additionally, the band (i.e., Peter) has started working on a new album entitled Hospice.  No word on a release date yet, but Peter hopes to have the album done before the end of the year.

Finally, the band has a couple of dates coming up, including an October 13th show "somewhere" in Baltimore and a November 3rd show at Pianos.  I have every intention of being at that Baltimore gig, even if it's somewhere in West Baltimore in the middle of a shootout between the Barksdale crew and Marlo's crew.
