The Pod Hotel

Anybody heard about, or stayed at, The Pod Hotel yet? Although I'm moving to DC for a year, I plan to come back often for business, to see friends and (most importantly) to see shows. Until we do our next round of funding, though, we're all going without salaries, and I'm not going to want to be spending a whole lot of money on hotels.

Enter The Pod Hotel. It's located at 51st and 3rd, and offers a selection of several very small rooms for relatively cheap prices. Each room comes with free WiFi, LCD TVs and iPod docs. Many rooms, though, lack bathrooms, meaning you have to use shared bathrooms. The cool part? Electronic displays in your room pod show the availability of bathrooms. Single rooms run about $149, but there's also bunk rooms for about $159, and larger rooms are more expensive.

I may just do this for The Frames.
