Mendoza Line Break Up (Kinda)

Somehow I missed this article on Pitchfork a few months ago. Sadly, Brooklyn's Mendoza Line have broken up. Well, maybe not completely broken up, but Shannon McArdle is leaving the band (as well as her marriage to bandmate Timothy Bracy).

The band's website is a little unclear as to the future of the band, suggesting both that Bracy will continue forward under the Mendoza Line name, and also that the band's forthcoming release, entitled 30 Year Low (out August 21st on Glurp), will be their last. So maybe Bracy's just using the name for the shows in support of the new disc, and then calling it quits?

The band is streaming 3 tracks from the new disc at their website. Here's one of them:

"Since I Came"
