WOXY is Dead... Long Live WOXY

Although WOXY.com may be shutting down next Friday, September 15th, the voice of at least one of its DJs will continue on the radio. WOXY's morning DJ, Barb, has taken a job as morning DJ with Minnesota Public Radio's The Current. Her first shift will be on Tuesday, October 3rd at 9am. And given the great lineup of live performances MPR has had (see list), I have a feeling we can expect some very WOXY-like things from Barb at her new gig.

The Current airs on KCMP 89.3 FM in the Twin Cities, KMSE 88.7 FM in Rochester, and, most importantly for those of us not in Minnesota, online.
