If you're in the New York area and are looking for something to do Thursday, Friday or Saturday night, look no further. Do yourself a favor and see my favorite young live band going right now (sorry, Birdmonster), The Whigs. They're playing on Thursday at Maxwell's, Friday at the Stone Pony, and Saturday at Mercury Lounge.
