New Hold Steady, "Southtown Girls"

Two songs from the Hold Steady's forthcoming album, Boys and Girls In America, are now streaming over at Vagrant Records. You need to click through to the home page, and you'll get a pop-up playing both "Chips Ahoy" and "Southtown Girls" from the album. I've linked to the former before, and it's great. This is the first time I've heard the latter. It's okay.

What amazes me is that this album still hasn't leaked. I'd love to know how Vagrant can manage this when no other label on earth can.

Boys and Girls in America comes out on October 3rd, and can be pre-ordered though Insound. Pre-orders come with a "comic book inspired by the songs" on the album. Hot dog.
