Merge Records CMJ Showcase on Sale Now

This year's Merge Records CMJ showcase will be held at the Knitting Factory on Friday, November 3rd. No bands officially announced yet, but one can assume the lineup will include Portastatic, White Whale and recent signee The Brokedown, among others. Tickets went on sale at midnight.

I already have a ticket to see the Decemberists that night, but now plan on attending the Merge show. Partially because I really don't like the idea of seeing the Decemberists in freaking Hammerstein Ballroom (capacity 5,500). But mainly because I can't wait to finally catch The Brokedown.
