Another Crowe Bites the Dust

Just a week after losing longtime keyboardist Eddie Hawrysch, Billboard is reporting that the Black Crowes have lost another member - guitarist Marc Ford. This was Ford's second tenure with the band, having playing with them from approximately 1991 until his 1996 firing, and then returning to the fold in 2005.

Despite the recent turnover, the band is remaining pretty active. Two of the bands' previously-unreleased albums / album sessions are being released as The Lost Crowes by Rhino on September 26th. Billboard also reports that the band have been recording a new album which should see release in 2007.
