Opener Announced for NYC Guns n' Roses Shows

Welsh heavy metal act Bullet for My Valentine has been announced as the opener for Guns n' Roses' four shows at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom later this month.

For those of you who aren't familiar with the band -- myself included -- go check out a couple of their videos:

Based on that first video, they sound to me like a cross between Iron Maiden and Thursday. Surprisingly, I don't think that's a terrible thing. And, I think we're all in agreeance that BFMV is a thousand times better than Hoobastank, who opened for GNR's ill-fated 2002 tour.
