DC Show Update
I doubt that I'll be able to revise this throughout the week since I'm off to Austin first thing tomorrow morning, but I figured I'd post what I could today. And, thankfully, there are a few new shows up on the Black Cat site already.
Black Cat
Sun., 3/30: The Andalusians, Carol Bui
Tue., 4/8: The Beanstalk Library, Bottles/Cans, PS24
Sun., 4/13: These United States, Wye Oak, The Sunday Mail
Sat., 5/3: Jukebox the Ghost, Travis Morrison Hellfighters, The XYZ Affair
Thu., 6/5: White Rabbits
Don't quote me on this, but my understanding is that the headliner for the May 3rd show used to have the same name as the third band on the bill for the April 13th show. Someone even referred to them by that name at their recent Rock and Roll Hotel show. So, assuming this to be true, it certainly seems that the April 13th show is (a) gonna be a huge lineup, and (b) gonna sell out.
Black Cat tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster on Friday at 5pm ET.
Rock and Roll Hotel
Mon., 5/19: Pela
This is the rescheduled show which was originally scheduled for this week. Glad I'll be able to catch them now. By the way, is it me or is the big "WE ARE NOT REALLY A FUNCTIONING HOTEL" on the R&R Hotel website new? Either way, it's funny as hell. It makes you wonder how many people have gotten liquored up at shows there expecting that they could just get a room if they didn't want to drive home...
Rock and Roll Hotel tickets go on sale via Ticket Alternative on Friday at 10am.

Yes, Jukebox The Ghost used to be called The Sunday Mail. I can definitely confirm that.
